A selection of topics and materials are made available here for use in the classroom. Each topic starts with a brief introduction then homes in on various aspects touching on the life and times of the people involved.
Worksheets and answers are provided for all topics and can be downloaded and printed off for use in conjunction with the website. They are available in the teacher materials section below.
What you can do
Students can work individually on-line and check their answers using those provided; or the teacher may link a projector to the Internet and, using the printed worksheets, employ whole-class teaching. Either way, it is probably better to work systematically through a topic.
