You can submit your story in this section. We are looking for people's memories, stories, recollections and anecdotes about anything connected with the Highlands and Islands. These will be reviewed and, if suitable, added to the site. You can also read other people's contributions too.

You can submit your story to Am Baile either by filling in the form below or you can send us a printed copy by post to Am Baile, Highland Libraries, Library Support Unit, 31A Harbour Road, Inverness IV1 1UA. You can also send a photograph to accompany your story. Please include your name and the name of your story so that we know which story it belongs with. All photographs accompanied by an S.A.E. will be returned after digitisation. Alternatively, you can click here to send us an image attached to an email. Again, please make sure you include your name & the name of the story. Please note that material will not be accepted that is considered to be illegal, defamatory, obscene or potentially offensive in any way.

Am Baile was established with initial funding from the New Opportunities Fund and is now funded by The Highland Council and managed as part of Highland Libraries.

Copyright Images may be downloaded from Am Baile for personal use, and for non-commercial educational purposes such as in a classroom or teaching environment, or for private research. For any other use of images, such as in a publication or on a publicly available website, copyright clearance must be obtained. Please contact us and we will refer you to the relevant copyright owner.
